What the test checks
An ATS reads text first. The test therefore checks whether the resume contains enough usable text, whether contact details are easy to find, whether standard sections appear, and whether the experiences are detailed enough.
With a job post, the diagnosis also compares the important terms from the posting with the terms that already appear in the resume.
- Readability of the text extracted from the resume.
- Presence of profile, experience, education, and skills sections.
- Identification of visible or missing keywords compared with the job post.
- A short list of corrections to handle first.
